02

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide in the application: your name, email address, optional phone number, country and region; university, department, degree level and postgraduate programme; research interests and experience; availability; and links to work samples, publications or a CV.

We do not ask for age, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, religion, marital status or photographs at application stage. Do not submit patient data, genomic files, unpublished confidential research, identity documents or unnecessary personal information.

03

We do not sell application data. We do not use applicant names, statements or documents for marketing analytics.

04

Who can access it

Access is limited to authorised ASR Lab staff and reviewers who need the information for the recruitment process. Reviewer access is role-based and, where applicable, restricted to assigned applications. Internal reviewer notes are not public.

We use infrastructure providers for hosting, database storage, authentication and transactional email. Those providers process data on our instructions and under their applicable terms. We do not add applicant data to third-party advertising or analytics tools.

06

Retention

Application records are retained only as long as needed for the recruitment process, resolution of any query, and applicable legal or audit obligations. A defined retention period will be published here before applications open; we will not infer one silently in code.

07
